I taught three years in Omaha at Millard West, moved to Lincoln to teach at Norris in 2012, and have been enjoying my time at Norris immensely. I have three younger siblings who went to UNL. Katy ISD offers four Credit by Examination testing windows throughout the year. A student is allowed to advance one grade level or one course per subject per academic year. Though I grew up in Lincoln, I was born in Milwaukee, WI (Go Packers!). Katy ISD offers Credit by Examination for acceleration at every grade level and subject area offered in accordance with the Texas State Board of Education rules. This year, Katy Independent School District (ISD) dropped 21 slots in our statewide ranking, and ranks better than 86.8 districts in Texas. I initially planned to go into the healthcare field, but through conversations with some wonderful people and by shadowing teachers, it became clear that teaching was my calling.and I love it! I earned my Masters in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education from UNL in 2009, and have taken further Masters level classes in Educational Technology, Science Pedagogy, and Assessment. I graduated from Lincoln East High School and went on to to study Dietetics & Nutrition Science at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She allowed me to be creative, and inspired me simply through her love of the subject. She provided me a challenging experience, but one that was rewarding. My Place Early Learning Center offers the best preschool, daycare, child care and after school programs in Katy TX. All equipment and toys are sanitized on a daily basis to avoid the spread of germs.I am a chemistry teacher because of my high school chemistry teacher, Mrs. I have no concerns at all that he will be perfectly prepared for KISD as a result of what he has learned at the I School. Our schools explorer shows the accountability ratings. I now have a 5 year old who will go to kindergarten next year. All Texas public school districts and campuses received the label Not Rated: Declared State of Disaster. Each child has his or her own crib and a special area labeled with your child's name to store bottles, pacifiers, diapers, etc. My kids have been enrolled at this school since they were 6 months old. Parents are able to interact immediately with teachers by inputting imperative information using this online system, creating a cutting-edge communication platform between parents and teachers. Additionally, you will receive daily e-mails highlighting your child's activities and photo's of their experiences. COMMUNICATION is key! Our infant teachers utilize a online system that allows each parent immediate notification anytime their child eats, sleeps, or receives hygienic care. Our infant program prepares your child for a successful transition into our Toddler Program! Out Teachers utilize Creative Curriculum and Innovations to create age-appropriate lesson plans, that include music and movement, story time, hands on multi-sensory art activities, Tummy time/floor time, a climbing area encourage physical and cognitive development. Our top priority is to create a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment by personalizing your child’s day based on their individual schedule, nutritional needs, and developmental path. Our Infant Program Our Infant class is tailored for children ranging from 6 weeks to approximately 12 months of age.
